Funk & Soul Weekender Confirms Full Line Up

The full line up for this year's Funk & Soul Weekender has been confirmed.

The Camber Sands weekender is set to mix iconic names and complete newcomers, all imbued with that unique quality known as soul.

Running between May 13th - 15th, the weekender will boast high profile performances from Roy Ayers, Quantic, afrobeat icon Tony Allen, Mr Scruff, Norman Jay, and more.

Newcomers such as Andrew Ashong will be flying the flag for the new generation, with the Funk & Soul Weekender inviting The Milk, Wrongtom, Rob Lewis, Wah Wah 45s, and Soundway to take part.

Rob Waller, programmer and founding director, Soundcrash: "Soul, funk, jazz, afrobeat and latin has all been at the heart of my booking for almost two decades; and although Soundcrash Productions - itself in its 10th year, is equally well known for its innovative electronic, bass music and hip hop output (which crosses very well into these genres), I thought is was time to make a special event specifically within the world of funk and soul for 2016."

Tickets are on sale now.

Funk & Soul Weekender runs between May 13th - 15th.
